About Us

Kungfu Acting Star Academy, where we combine martial arts excellence with the art of performance. Our founder Jing Li, a champion athlete from the Beijing Wushu Team, has a rich history of winning gold medals in various disciplines, including swordplay, Tai Chi, etc. With accolades such as the Best Coach award from Berkeley University and recognition from the Hollywood film industry, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch training. Master Jing Li

1989-1998: Member of the Beijing Wushu Team, China.

  • 1996: Awarded the title of China’s Wuying-level athlete.

  • 1993-1998: Won gold medals in over ten events, including spear, staff, broadsword, straight sword, Tai Chi, choreographed sparring, and three-section staff, in Chinese and international Wushu competitions.

  • 1998: Key athlete of the gold medal-winning team at the 8th National Games.

  • 1998: Champion in Tai Chi, straight sword, and spear at the International Wushu Competition.

1999-2002: Head coach of the UC Berkeley Wushu Team.

  • 2000: Voted Coach of the Year by university students.

  • 2002: Featured as a prominent figure and best-selling cover personality in Kung Fu Magazine.

  • 2002-2005: Four-time All-Around Women's Champion at the International Kung Fu Championship in the U.S.

2000-2018: Chief judge for national and international Wushu competitions in the U.S.

  • 2002: Joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) in Hollywood. Has participated in over 100 films, TV shows, commercials, and music videos.

  • 2018: Awarded the Person of the Year at the Hollywood AOF Film Festival.

  • 2019: Nominated as Outstanding Woman of the Year by a U.S. congressman.

  • 2019: Won the Golden Angel Award for Best Supporting Actress at the China-U.S. Film Festival.

  • 2021: Won the SAG Award for Best Stunt Design for Mulan.

  • 2023: Played Michelle Yeoh’s Kung Fu master in Everything Everywhere All at Once (95th Academy Awards Best Picture winner).

  • 2023: Won the SAG Award for Best Performance for Everything Everywhere All at Once
